Thank you for your interest! If you are interested in making a connection, please don't hesitate to reach out to me.I am over 30, and usually prefer to RP with people closer to my own age. I'm mostly just here to hang out casually, but do like talking about story and plot connections! If there is a question, please don't hesitate to ask!I am down for mature/dark themes, but I do not ERP and am not looking for a romantic/shipping partner. This is not negotiable. I am down to explore connections of many other kinds, however!.I do my best to adhere to the game's lore; however, I also understand that FFXIV's game lore is very broad with a lot of room for creative expression and evolved with new information.I am fine with lore-bending as long as it makes sense with the lore as established. Ultimately, good storytelling triumphs all.

Now, the principles of selection of the trainees for weapon training will be discussed. After examining the Trainee (disciple) thoroughly, the preceptor will give a bow to a Brahmin disciple, who is not greedy, cunning, ungrateful or foolish. He will give a ‘dhanu’ (meaning a bow) to a Brahmin disciple, a khadga (meaning a sword) to a Ksatriya, a ‘Kunta’ (meaning a lance) to a Vaisya and a ‘Gada’ (meaning a mace) to a Sudra.Fighting with hands (Bahuyuddha) has its seven divisions. These are carried out with a bow (dhanu) or a circular missile (cakra) or a lance (kunta) or a sword (khadga) or a knife (churika) and mace (gada) and lastly by fighting with the bare hands only.

An archer who is pure in heart masters his weapons by applying his mind, word and active hands. He can kill with his weapons a man who is unworthy and unable to live and who is evil.

Natatapas - For missions involving more subterfuge or intimate reconnaissance, Daya masquerades as an instrumentalist to accompany any number of Thavnair's traveling dance troupes abroad. She deploys with a unit - the 'Divinities' Dancers' trained to the Thavnairan kriegztanz. It is rumored that they may also subtly pledge themselves to worthy causes beyond their nation's purview, though what they may consider worthy or just may be anyone's guess.
Devasu - Those familiar with the intricacies of Thavnair's standing military, the Radiant Host, may have heard of this unit.
Historically formed from guardians and protectors of sacred sites, the 'Divinites' Arrows' are a ranger unit deployed to protect Thavnairan interests abroad - with tasks such as shepherding diplomats and the goods of tradesmen as they travel the breadth of the world falling under their banner.
The descendant of a long lineage of Thavnarian temple guards, Daya honed her skills at archery as a youth for hunting as well as defending her home - and the pilgrims who visited it.
The events of the changing world have seen her sent away from her temple home and out into it-A reclusive community of ascetics in the mountains, whose outrunners help protect travelers and pilgrims to the mountain temples, and who are rumored to make great study of the alchemical concept of akasa - greater still in the wake of the Final Days...Are you: A religious pilgrim? Someone else who was aided or taken in by this group during chaos of the apocalypse? A researcher or curiosity-seeker?
